The Andhra Pradesh State  government on Saturday issued an order renaming the Rajiv Aarogyasri Health Insurance Scheme as NTR Aarogya Seva (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Aarogya Seva).

The Andhra Pradesh State government  enhanced NTR Aarogya Seva  by adding coverage to 100 new procedures to the existing 938 procedures by making it a total of 1038 procedures. The scheme will provide free treatment in the Selected network hospitals for a total 1038 procedures.

The government also increased the existing limit of financial coverage from Rs 2 lakhs per family per annum to Rs 2.50 lakhs per family per annum.
